Morning Set

Most coffee shops offer a "morning set" ... a set meal of hard-boiled egg, toast, coffee/tea, and salad or fruit.
The price is usually around 350-550 yen ($4-6). The egg might be fried at one place, or you'll get soup instead of salad at another. The toast is almost always white and thick.
If just order a coffee, it will usually cost almost as much as getting the "set".
